Summer at the Lipizzaner stud

Adventure is calling! At the Lipizzaner stud Piber, a new climbing park with around 60 stations on 7 courses has been open since the beginning of June.  Are you as sure-footed and nimble as our young stallions on the mountain pasture? Or are you a little more cautious but curious with a big adventurer's heart and the necessary dose of courage like our foals? However you feel at the moment - with 60 stations in various courses with different levels of difficulty, you too will find the right route for your personal courage level. 

Our recommendation: Combine your visit to the climbing park with a visit to the stud farm. Combined tickets for the stud farm and climbing park or stud farm + guided tour and climbing park make it possible!

Tickets are available on site at the ticket office.

Watch our professional riders during public riding training with the Lipizzaners in the riding hall.

Training times: Mondays - Fridays, 10.45 to 11.30 am (subject to change)

The riding training is accessible with the ‘Day admission’ or ‘Day admission incl. guided tour’ tickets.

Experience our ‘young wild ones’ up close and learn more about the alpine life of our Lipizzaner youth on our guided tours at the alpine pastures.

Did you know that around 40 Lipizzaner foals are born in Piber every year? Learn more about breeding, rearing and the life of the Lipizzaners at the stud farm from our professional horse whisperers.

Help little Neapolitano Sessana solve tricky puzzles on a little tour around the stud farm. Get your horse pass from the ticket shop and let the adventure begin! The children's adventure trail is also accessible without a day admission ticket.

Please note that the horse pass only can be bought during the ticket office's opening hours.
